Hong Kong is strengthening its collaboration with mainland China in artificial intelligence (AI), aviation, and professional services, industry insiders at China’s global import expo said.

Technology executives and accounting professionals discussed how to leverage Hong Kong’s strategic position, including the Northern Metropolis megaproject near the mainland border, while the city’s flag carrier introduced a refrigerated sea logistics link to Dongguan, Guangdong Province. These developments signal deepening integration, they said.

On Saturday, Andrew Chen, founder of technology company Mindverse, told the South China Morning Post that cross-border operations are becoming increasingly seamless as physical and business ties continue to strengthen.
