Inde Navarrette, the breakout star of the horror hit Obsession, will host Saturday Night Live’s Halloween episode, capping off spooky season on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Navarrette is among the four hosts for the first four episodes of SNL’s 52nd season, NBC announced Wednesday. The season premieres on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The actress, of course, is the star of writer-director Curry Barker’s Obsession, which shocked both moviegoers and the industry after opening on May 15. The film — about a music store employee’s wish for his co-worker’s love going horribly wrong — earned nearly $510 million worldwide against a $750,000 budget before marketing.
Since then, Navarrette’s career has accelerated, with early Oscar buzz and her casting last month as Rogue in Disney and Marvel’s upcoming X-Men reboot. She will also star as Jane in Apple Original Film’s sci-fi thriller The Waffle House Index.
As her awards campaign for Obsession gains momentum, Navarrette will spend at least a week in New York preparing for her SNL hosting duties. NBC announced that Grammy nominee Gracie Abrams will be the musical guest for her episode, marking Navarrette’s first appearance and Abrams’s second.

Who Else Is Hosting ‘SNL’ In September And October?
NBC announced Wednesday that New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, MVP of the 2026 NBA Finals, will make his SNL hosting debut on the season premiere, Sept. 26. Global girl group KATSEYE will make their SNL musical guest debut on the same episode, supporting their new EP WILD on the WILDWORLD tour.
Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and Materialists star Dakota Johnson will host the second episode on Oct. 3, promoting her psychological thriller Verity alongside Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett. Grammy-winning hard rock group Turnstile will make their first SNL musical guest appearance on that episode, currently on their NEVER ENOUGH Tour Pt. 2.
Stand-up comic and Tires star Shane Gillis returns for his third hosting stint on Oct. 10, with Grammy-winning singer Rosalía, fresh off her LUX tour, as musical guest for her second time. NBC noted that SNL will take a two-week break after Gillis’s episode and return with Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams on Oct. 31.
