Captain Smit Machchhar remains hospitalised in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, following an assault by his co‑pilot during Flight 1073, which linked Dubai and Tel Aviv on Wednesday. The Boeing 737 MAX plunged sharply, losing half its altitude within two minutes, until additional crew members regained control and executed an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
