Iran’s Top Negotiator Vows to Counter US Naval Blockade with Strategic Mixed Approach

DUBAI, June 8 (Reuters) – Iran will seek to turn the U.S. naval blockade into another strategic defeat, top negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said in a message on his Telegram channel on Monday.

“We will not simply fight or simply negotiate, but rather we will fight when we choose and negotiate when we choose,” Qalibaf stated. “Our objective is ending the conflict and achieving stable security, and we place no trust in the other party.”
