TUNIS: The Islamic Development Bank has approved €335.49 million ($391 million) to finance the extension of Tunisia’s motorway network in the northwest region.
The initiative will extend the motorway network to the provinces of Kef and Jendouba, enhancing connectivity, transport links, and fostering regional development, according to the TAP news agency.
The bank noted that the project will also improve road safety and transport infrastructure, while promoting economic integration and social cohesion in the region.
