ISPR Reports 10 Terrorists Killed and Two Female Suicide Bombers Detained in Balochistan Operations

Security forces have neutralized 10 terrorists and detained two female suicide bombers, along with their facilitator, during a series of operations conducted in Balochistan’s Surab and Mastung districts over the last 48 hours, according to a statement released by the military’s media wing on Wednesday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that seven terrorists were killed in Surab, while three were killed in Mastung. The Mastung operation also resulted in the apprehension of the two female suicide bombers and their facilitator.

The ISPR stated that these operations are part of a sustained effort to dismantle the “terrorist nexus of India-sponsored Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij” in Balochistan, aimed at eliminating terrorist remnants and their support networks.

The state utilizes the term Fitna-al-Khawarij to refer to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), while designating Balochistan-based groups as Fitna-al-Hindustan to underscore allegations regarding India’s involvement in regional terrorism and destabilization.

The military noted that the operations in Mastung and Surab involved multiple intelligence-based actions, area sanitization, and targeted strikes carried out over the past two days.

The two suicide bombers and their facilitator caught during the Mastung operation have been identified as members of Fitna-al-Hindustan.

“Weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices used by the terrorists were also recovered from the scene,” the statement noted.

Authorities added that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining foreign-sponsored terrorists in the vicinity.

“The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the ‘Azm-i-Istehkam’ vision—as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan—will continue at full pace by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country,” the statement concluded.
