Israeli forces fatally shot a Palestinian and injured nine individuals, among them four children, during coordinated attacks throughout Gaza on Saturday, according to medical officials cited by Anadolu Agency.
The incidents occurred amid ongoing breaches of the ceasefire that has been upheld in Gaza since October 10, 2025.
A medical source reported that a young Palestinian man was killed when Israeli forces opened fire in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
In southern Gaza, medics said seven injured Palestinians, including two children, were transferred to Nasser Hospital after Israeli tanks positioned near the al-Shakoush area southwest of Khan Younis unleashed heavy fire; three victims remain in critical condition.
In Gaza City, two children sustained injuries when Israeli forces fired on residential structures and makeshift shelters for displaced families in the eastern Tuffah and Zeitoun districts, medical sources reported.
Local witnesses and sources affiliated with Anadolu Agency indicated that Israeli drones targeted homes east of the Bureij refugee camp, east of Deir al-Balah, with no reported casualties.
Israeli artillery units also shelled eastern sections of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to local reports.
Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that Israeli ceasefire violations have resulted in 1,257 Palestinian deaths and 4,131 injuries since the ceasefire commenced.
Since October 8, 2023, Israel has conducted what many Palestinians characterize as a genocidal campaign in Gaza, backed by U.S. support, resulting in over 73,000 fatalities and more than 174,000 injuries — predominantly women and children — while destroying approximately 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure.
