Lisa Keightley Appointed CA National Development Lead Amid WPL Role Uncertainty

A former Australian international with nine Tests, 82 ODIs, and one T20I to her name, Keightley has previously served as head coach for both Australia and England.

Currently, she is the head coach of the Sydney Thunder in the WBBL, where she secured a two-year extension in June, as well as the Mumbai Indians in the WPL and MI London in the Hundred. While she will maintain her position with the Thunder alongside her new CA duties, she is expected to step away from her WPL role with Mumbai Indians. Her future with the Hundred remains undecided.

Keightley joined Mumbai Indians last year following Charlotte Edwards’ appointment as England head coach. The franchise ended the previous season in fourth place, recording three wins from eight matches and missing the playoffs for the first time.
