Litton Das has been named captain of Bangladesh’s One-Day International side, succeeding Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who led the team for a little over a year. The appointment places Das in charge of the nation’s white‑ball squads across both limited‑overs formats following Bangladesh’s recent ODI series defeat to Zimbabwe earlier this month. Najmul Hossain Shanto will remain Test captain.
