Manchester United Weighing Up Formal Bid for Belgian Left-Back Joaquin Seys Ahead of Next Transfer Window
Facing difficulties securing a replacement left-back during the summer, United aim to address the position’s needs at the start of the next season.
Analysts identify Seys as a leading option, with rumors indicating an acquisition deal worth roughly £30 million could be presented for his services.
However, closing the deal may be challenging, as Club Brugge has emphasized a strong preference for retaining the player through mid‑term commitments.
In August, both Seys and Nicolo Tresoldi were retained following the sale of Cristos Tzolis to Arsenal in July.
Despite these negotiations, neither side has pivoted, leaving uncertainty about whether United will eventually secure a buyer by early 2027.
Additionally, Nicolo Tresoldi remains a focal point for potential summer transfers.
