TOKYO — Mitsubishi Heavy Industries announced plans to increase its large gas turbine production capacity by 100% by fiscal 2030 compared to 2024 levels, driven by surging demand for electricity to power data centers, especially in the United States. The company will allocate over 90 billion yen ($618 million) toward expanding facilities in Japan and the U.S. to support this initiative.
