Fatima Zahra El Mansouri has been appointed Morocco’s first female prime minister following her party’s decisive victory in the recent parliamentary elections.
King Muhammed VI issued a royal decree outlining El Mansouri’s mandate to establish a new cabinet, anticipated to be a coalition government incorporating multiple political factions.
