As part of NASA’s nationwide Inspiration Tour, Administrator Jared Isaacman will pilot one of three F-5 fighter jets to kick off the New York Jets versus Cleveland Browns game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Prior to kickoff, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT, NASA team members will host an Experience Zone at the Jets Tailgate Zone outside the stadium. Fans can explore interactive games, learn about the Artemis program’s return to the Moon, and take photos with a large, inflatable Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.
During the game, Administrator Isaacman will be available for limited media interviews. To schedule an interview, please contact Camille Gallo at camille.m.gallo@nasa.gov or 202-531-8057.
The NASA Inspiration Tour connects the agency with academic, industry, and public sector stakeholders across the nation to highlight the people, technologies, and organizations driving American leadership in space.
The tour will culminate in “MAX POWER,” a public exposition of American air and space innovation held on Nov. 7 and 8 near the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, this multi-day, family-friendly event will showcase next-generation aircraft, spacecraft, autonomous vehicles, and technologies shaping the future of air and space transportation.
