Nathan Fielder Reveals Elizabeth Holmes Documentary ‘You Can See Everything’ at Telluride Film Festival

Long-rumored documentation of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes—complete with prison interviews—has finally surfaced as “You Can See Everything,” which premiered Sunday at the Telluride Film Festival.

The documentary synopsis describes the project as follows:

Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss. From boundary-pushing directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim comes ‘You Can See Everything.’

Fielder, known for the acclaimed series “Nathan For You” and “The Rehearsal,” co-directed the film with Oppenheim, whose documentary credits include “Some Kind of Heaven” and the recent Robert Pattinson-led project “Primetime.” The A24-backed documentary is scheduled for theatrical release in October, with the studio releasing a teaser trailer to accompany the secret Colorado festival premiere.

The trailer captures Fielder and Holmes in a charged exchange, their eyes meeting as they assess one another.

“I don’t have anything to deceive you on,” Holmes assures him. “Of course I’m not deceiving you. I’m engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that.”

“OK. Alright. OK, good chat,” Fielder responds, then pressing further: “You’re being real right now?”

“I’m always being real,” she replies.
