Hall set to sign new Newcastle deal

Newcastle United Set to Tie Down Lewis Hall with New Long-Term Deal, Thwarting Manchester United Interest

The England international had been Manchester United’s primary left‑back target this summer, but Newcastle showed no intention of parting with him.

Hall also expressed his willingness to remain under new head coach Matthias Jaissle, and he has been impressed by the German’s tactical approach.

The Chelsea academy product has agreed to a fresh five‑year contract with the Magpies, a development that could deal a blow to United’s plans.

Although United hope to revisit the pursuit next season, the renewed agreement may make it considerably harder to lure him away.

Hall’s current valuation sits around £60 million, and a contract extension is likely to push that figure even higher.

Consequently, United may need to explore alternative options to strengthen their left‑wing resources, either in the January window or at the close of the current campaign.

Club Brugge’s Joaquin Seys has been mentioned as a possible alternative.
