Nikki Bella is continuing her road to recovery.
In a recent interview with USA Today, the WWE Hall of Fame star opened up about her progress following an ankle injury, offering fans a candid look at where things stand. She also shared her thoughts on several notable moments within the wrestling world, including Ronda Rousey’s recent return to the octagon and the buzz surrounding Tom Brady and Logan Paul’s Super Bowl interactions.
The full conversation is captured in the video below, with key takeaways highlighted throughout.
On the possibility of appearing on WWE television in a non-wrestling capacity during her recovery: “I mean, I guess you’re going to have to tune in to find out, but I could. Even though I have this thing where I feel like when you have an injury, like I did right before WrestleMania when Paige came in, won the title, and they became tag champions — I feel like my return has to be physical. We’re almost there, and I feel like it’ll have more impact that way. But hey, you never know. Maybe they need me to help them win. Who knows? That’s the beauty of wrestling.”
On Tom Brady and Logan Paul’s Super Bowl crossover: “I know everyone else moved on, but I like Logan Paul a lot, and I think what he’s doing for our industry is great. When I see stuff like that, I’m like, this is amazing. It made me laugh, too, because I’m a diehard Eagles fan.”
On Ronda Rousey’s recent comeback fight: “My initial reaction was, wait, it’s over. But what I will say is it left me wanting a lot more from Ronda. She looked incredible — so amazing that I now want to see her in more fights. I’m all about nostalgia, so no matter what, I love that those two women got into that octagon and did what they did. But the shape Ronda’s in, a year postpartum, is incredible. I want to see more from her. I know she’s saying she’s going to have more babies and that was it, but even in those 17 seconds, Ronda looked like she didn’t miss a beat.”
