When Noah Kahan released his latest album, The Great Divide, earlier this year, he cemented his status as a true superstar. The singer-songwriter first broke out several years prior with his breakout set, Stick Season, which produced a string of major hits and fundamentally shifted the sound of top 40 radio toward a more acoustic, folk singer-songwriter aesthetic.
Kahan’s The Great Divide propelled him to No. 1 on several Billboard charts for the first time, and months into its promotional cycle, the full-length album remains one of the most popular titles in the United States. It is not just the album as a whole that continues to perform exceptionally well, but nearly every individual track from its track list continues to make an impact this week.
Multiple cuts from Kahan’s latest studio effort are returning to the same charts, allowing him to occupy numerous slots simultaneously whenever the competitive landscape eases up.
Three Noah Kahan Songs Return to the Same Chart
Kahan is staging three simultaneous comebacks on the Hot Rock Songs chart this week. His tracks “Haircut,” “Dan,” and “Deny, Deny, Deny” are reentering the ranking at Nos. 20, 22, and 24, respectively.
The Hot Rock Songs chart ranks the most popular rock-only tracks in the U.S. using a methodology that incorporates multiple forms of consumption. While none of Kahan’s three returning cuts have reached the top 10, all of them have spent months on the roster, with each song missing the highest tier by only a few spaces.
Noah Kahan Fills 11 Spaces on One Billboard Chart
Kahan occupies an incredible 11 positions on the Hot Rock Songs chart this week, including his three returning favorites. Among his dominant lineup, “Orbiter” and “Willing and Able” remain his strongest performers on the list, with both tracks holding steady as top 10 smashes. Several other key tracks from The Great Divide also continue to hold space on the roster, including “Doors,” “End of August,” “Staying Still,” “American Cars,” “Dashboard,” and “Downfall.”
Noah Kahan Scores Another Rock Chart Comeback
Another Kahan tune is reentering a different, yet related, Billboard chart. “Paid Time Off” returns to the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart at No. 48, marking its only current presence on any ranking.
The Hot Rock & Alternative Songs tally casts a wider net than the Hot Rock Songs chart by incorporating tracks classified under both rock and alternative labels. “Paid Time Off” has previously performed much better on this roster, peaking at No. 12 and missing the top 10 by just two rungs.
Noah Kahan’s Tunes Reach New Peaks on Different Tallies
Two of Kahan’s singles are reaching new peaks on Billboard charts this week. “Doors” climbs one space to No. 4 on the Alternative Airplay ranking, establishing a new career best as radio promotion continues to build momentum.
“Orbiter” simultaneously climbs to new peaks on three other tallies. The single reaches Nos. 6, 28, and 95 on the Alternative Streaming Songs, Streaming Songs, and Billboard Global 200 charts, respectively.
