Kazuchika Okada found himself in a memorable ringside exchange with Tommaso Ciampa’s family during their AEW International Championship match at All Out 2026.
What began as an attempt to rattle Ciampa quickly became one of the night’s most talked-about moments.
After planting Ciampa with a hanging DDT on the barricade directly in front of his family, The Rainmaker turned his attention to Ciampa’s daughter, Willow, who was celebrating her eighth birthday.
Okada and Ciampa Deliver a Chaotic AEW All Out Title Bout
Okada offered Willow a high-five, but she refused. The champion responded by flipping her off, only for the birthday girl to return the gesture with both middle fingers.
The crowd erupted at the exchange, while Ciampa immediately rushed to his daughter’s defense. He attacked Okada against the barricade, landed a knee strike, and then shared a high-five with Willow.
The family moment added another layer to an already physical championship contest. Ciampa repeatedly pushed Okada to his limit, surviving several dangerous sequences and even kicking out at the last possible moment after a Knee Trembler.
Ciampa later connected with Project Ciampa, but Okada managed to escape with the title still within reach. The champion also attempted to use a screwdriver after Don Callis distracted referee Rick Knox, though Ciampa countered the attack.
Eventually, Ciampa avoided another Rainmaker attempt and landed a second Knee Trembler. Okada survived, however, and finally found his opening.
The Rainmaker connected, allowing Okada to pin Ciampa and retain the AEW International Championship. The champion may have won the match, but Willow undoubtedly got the last laugh in the ringside finger-flipping department.
Okada also wished Willow a happy birthday after the match, staying in character following an encounter that blended championship stakes with unforgettable family business.
