Olivia Rodrigo brought out Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morissette, and Sarah McLachlan during her headline set at Daisy Chain Fields – watch below.

The festival, a one‑day event conceived by Rodrigo, was held at Great Park in Irvine, California, on August 29, with the singer topping the bill and closing the Dandelion Stage.

The first guest to join her was Sarah McLachlan. Rodrigo told the audience that without Lilith Fair, the pioneering women‑led touring festival McLachlan founded in 1997, “there would be no Daisy Chain.”

They performed two of McLachlan’s classic songs, “Building a Mystery” and “Angel,” dedicating both to Dolly Parton, who passed away earlier that week at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer.

Alanis Morissette later joined for a duet of her 1996 hit “Ironic.” Stevie Nicks then concluded the set with a striking rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s 1975 classic “Landslide.”

Rodrigo also debuted her new politically‑charged song “Serena Joy,” inspired by *The Handmaid’s Tale*. The track was released on streaming platforms that week following an exclusive run of 500 CDs sold at a local record store near the festival.

Rodrigo had previously hinted she might perform “Landslide” with Nicks. After announcing the line‑up, she was asked which song she hoped to include in her set, replying, “‘Landslide’, maybe? We’ll see. Fingers crossed.”

The festival also featured performances by Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, Garbage, Santigold, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, and other artists.

Devon Again was added to the line‑up after KATSEYE withdrew shortly before the festival due to Megan Skiendiel’s ankle injury during tour rehearsals.

All participating artists waived their performance fees, with the festival’s net proceeds supporting nonprofits that advocate for women and girls. The event also offered educational resources, community art projects, and installations addressing reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, domestic violence prevention, and gender equality.

Her third album, *You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love*, was released in June.

The NME gave the album four‑and‑a‑half stars, stating, “Here is a major popstar who is not afraid to get weirder and more wonderful, to give even more of themselves over in their art. *You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love* is undeniable evidence of Rodrigo’s growth: as a songwriter, composer, and as a human being.”

She will embark on her extensive *Unraveled* world tour next month, supported by Wolf Alice, The Last Dinner Party, Devon Again, Grace Ives, and Die Spitz. The tour is slated to hit The O2 in London in May 2027.
