Olivia Rodrigo has released her first holiday single, titled “Take Me Home (4 Christmas).” The song explores the experience of meeting a partner’s extended family for the first time. Co‑written by Dan Nigro and Amy Allen, it is accompanied by a music video featuring Ben Marshall of *Saturday Night Live* as Rodrigo’s partner and Cynthia Nixon portraying his mother. The video is available below.
“Take Me Home” follows the David Byrne‑directed video for the “Expectations” remix with Chappell Roan. Both tracks appear on Rodrigo’s upcoming 2026 album, *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love*, which is being supported by the worldwide Unraveled Tour. Supporting acts on the tour include Grace Ives, Wolf Alice, Devon Again, the Last Dinner Party, and Die Spitz.
Earlier this year, Rodrigo launched the benefit festival Daisy Chain Fields, an event inspired by Lilith Fair that took place in California in August. The festival featured a diverse lineup of female artists, including Quiet Light and the Breeders, and raised $20 million for organizations such as Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights. During the event, she also debuted “Serena Joy,” a song inspired by *The Handmaid’s Tale*.
