The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has extended the trading suspension of shares in three listed companies for an additional 60 days, effective November 5, 2026, after the firms failed to resolve outstanding regulatory issues.
According to a notice issued on November 4, the affected companies are Al-Abid Silk Mills Limited, Dewan Salman Fibre Limited, and Fatima Enterprise Limited.
The exchange stated that Al-Abid Silk Mills and Dewan Salman Fibre have suspended commercial production or core business operations. Both companies received adverse audit opinions, and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has issued orders to file winding-up petitions against them in court. Creditors have also separately filed winding-up petitions against the two firms.
Fatima Enterprise remains in violation of PSX regulations for failing to hold annual general meetings, submit annual audited financial statements, and pay outstanding dues to the exchange.
Trading in the shares of all three companies will remain suspended until the relevant violations are rectified, or for a further period of 60 days beginning November 5.
The extension follows an earlier PSX notice issued on September 4, 2026. The decision was made under Section 19(7) of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.11 of the exchange’s regulations.
