In May, Paul McCartney dropped his first album in six years, *The Boys of Dungeon Lane*, a nostalgic reflection on his Liverpool childhood. The record features his debut duet with former Beatle Ringo Starr on “Home To Us” and earned him his first Mercury Prize nomination. Today he launched a digital deluxe version of the album, adding four new tracks, with a physical release slated for nearer Christmas.
The new tracks—ballad “City Fox,” pop song “One Night Stand,” rocker “Chelsea Boots,” and a “flip mix” of “Home To Us”—capture McCartney’s classic sound. Also released is a 1996 archival video in which McCartney revisits Dungeon Lane, his childhood neighborhood.
To promote the release, McCartney appeared on *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* during its Brooklyn week last Friday. Around the 1:45 mark, he and Kimmel joked that Larry David would never be invited back to a McCartney concert after the *Curb Your Enthusiasm* star refused to sing along at an intimate Los Angeles show.
