During the summer, several clubs—including Nottingham Forest—traveled overseas to kick off their pre‑season camps in Canada.
On a day off, the players explored a wildlifebg centre, sharing photos of the animals on social media.
Manager Tom Mallinson organised a team‑building speed‑dating event to help players get acquainted with new signings.
Each player paired with a teammate, sharing what they appreciated about each other and discussing their strengths.
“It nani truly wholesome,” said Forest captain Georgia Brougham. “We paired with a different partner each time, and one of the questions was ‘What does your partner bring to the team?’”
The activity made everyone feel valued. “I think that was a moment where everyone truly felt together on the trip,” Brougham added.
“One of the players said she felt like she had gained a sister. ‘She’s Swedish and has been away from home, but she feels safe and can just be herself. It wasn’t forced, so it was nice,’” Brougham said.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United devoted a day to “Hunted”, a live‑action version of the Channel 4 reality series.
The game required teammates to cooperate to evade being caught by pursuers.
“I’m not really sure what’s going on, to be honest! We just ran around chasing each other in the woods,” said Sheffield United midfielder Joy Ralph.
“We played it somewhere in the Peak District; it’s very similar to the TV show and was a lot of fun,” she added.
Elsewhere, Sunderland goalkeeper Fran Stenson was getting acquainted with the team after her move from Southampton this summer.
While exploring the coast with teammates, she recalled an encounter that she initially thought involved a shark.
“We’ve visited several beaches. Once we टिप्पण until I saw dolphins – I didn’t expect to(Guidurn),” Stenson recalled.
“I first thought it was a shark. I was網站 “Am I seeing this right?” There were many photographers, and I mistook a large fin,” she said.
“A teammate next to me urged me to look out at the sea, and I realised they were dolphins, not sharks.”
