Real Madrid are intensifying efforts to secure a deal for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.
The 19‑year‑old Ivory Coast international joined Leipzig from Leganés last summer and delivered an impressive debut season, registering 26 goal‑related contributions.
Having already attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe, Diomande is eyeing a higher level of competition for the upcoming campaign.
Paris Saint‑Germain remain his first preference, yet there has been no agreement on transfer terms with Leipzig to date.
Arsenal and Manchester City have made inquiries to his agents; however, Real Madrid appears to be the most proactive in their pursuit, offering a bid that they believe stands a strong chance of success.
Leipzig has reportedly set a valuation of approximately €120 million for the winger, but Madrid remain hopeful of securing the player for somewhat less.
Earlier this summer, Arsenal suffered a blow when Chelsea defeated them for the signature of Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, their primary left‑wing option.
With Rogers already committed elsewhere, the Gunners Hoube less likely to acquire Diomande in the near term.
