During the second night of her Lux Tour at Madison Square Garden, Rosalía invited Saturday Night Live cast member Marcello Hernández onstage for a candid “confession” segment. She greeted him as her “queridisísimo” and asked him to share something truthful.

“Marcello, you know we’re here—you can speak in Spanish, English, however you like. But it’s very important to tell the truth here,” Rosalía said. She has also enlisted guests like Maggie Rogers for similar moments.

“I have a story I’ve never said before,” Hernández began in a mix of Spanish and English. “It happened ten years ago, when I was 18 or 19, just starting my career. It was Valentine’s Day, and I invited a woman over for dinner at my apartment. I cooked using a YouTube tutorial, set a formal table, and bought two bottles of wine with my fake ID. One bottle was for the meal, the other to drink—something I’m proud of. She said she was on her way, then a little late, then really late. At that point I poured a bottle of wine while FaceTiming my mom.”

Earlier this week, Rosalía tapped singer Maggie Rogers for a confession segment. Rogers recounted a wild date with a New York Times journalist who took her to his office conference room for a make‑out session at 1 a.m., only to learn later that he had a girlfriend.

Other confessional guests on the tour have included Cara Delevigne, Aitana, Lola Young, Bad Gyal, and Barça player Kika Navazreth.

Rosalía released her latest album, Lux, last fall. The record features vocals in 13 different languages and was hailed by Rolling Stone as an “instant classic” and “a truly timeless work of art” that “no other pop star could have made.” Her tour continues through the U.S. in June and early July before moving to South America, concluding in September in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
