US Envoys Conclude Peace Talks in Kyiv and Moscow Amid Ongoing Conflict
Fox News correspondent Stephanie Bennett reports on U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner concluding high-stakes talks in Kyiv and Moscow as the Trump administration intensifies efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Bennett details discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin aimed at establishing a framework for a potential peace agreement on ‘Fox News Live.’
Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv on Tuesday, just hours after U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visited the Ukrainian capital to revive stalled peace negotiations.
According to Ukrainian officials, the attack involved both ballistic and cruise missiles, striking residential buildings in two districts of the city and forcing residents to remain indoors.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that several people were trapped inside a residential building following the strikes.

The missile attacks, which sparked fires across the city including at an educational facility, occurred just after Witkoff and Kushner met with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv on Sunday. The day prior, the envoys had met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow as the Trump administration works to end the conflict that began in February 2022.
Witkoff announced that Ukraine and Russia had agreed to a three-day ceasefire prior to the envoys’ visit, following months of little progress toward a peace agreement. However, the ceasefire officially expired on Tuesday.

“Substantive progress was made, including movement on scheduling additional trilateral talks. President Trump is working hard to stop the killing and work towards a lasting and durable peace,” Witkoff wrote on X following the trip.
On Tuesday morning, the governor of the Russian city of Saratov reported that a Ukrainian drone struck civilian infrastructure, injuring several people.

Ukrainian officials reported on Monday that Russian attacks over the past day killed multiple people and wounded dozens of others across the country.
In addition, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted three Russian oil refineries on Monday.
