At Bristol Motor Speedway, a wave of tributes honored Kyle Busch, the record‑breaking driver who captured 23 victories across all three national series at the historic half‑mile.

M&M’s made a surprise return to NASCAR, sponsoring Ty Gibbs’ No. 54 with a special Kyle Busch tribute livery. The Busch family attended the event, with Brexton joining Ty Gibbs during driver introductions.

On the grid, Samantha delivered an emotional address, flanked by her children Brexton and Lennix, with the M&M’s No. 54 prominently displayed behind her.

Below is video of her comments, and a full transcript as well:

Samantha Busch began, “Bristol has always held a special place in Kyle’s heart. He loved racing under the lights, the energy of this venue, and most of all, the fans.”

She reflected on two decades of racing, noting that the sport had been their family’s life, where they raised their children and created lasting memories. “I never imagined we’d be here without him, but seeing all of you reminds me we’re not alone.”

She thanked the supporters for celebrating his victories, standing by him during difficult times, and even for the boos that marked his career. “Whether you knew him as Kyle, the Candy Man, Rowdy, or simply your favorite driver, there would be no Rowdy without you.”

She expressed gratitude that the racing community has embraced Brex and Lennix since his passing, and praised Kyle’s legacy — extending beyond wins and championships to the drivers he mentored, the fans he connected with, and, above all, the devoted father and husband he was.

“The sight of the iconic M&M’s colors under the Bristol lights tonight feels like a part of him is still with us.”

She concluded, “When lap 18 arrives, grab those tribute towels and wave them high. Let’s show Kyle that Bristol will always hold a special place in his heart for the one and only Rowdy.”
