According to RTTNews, Samsung Card Co., Ltd. (029780.KS), a South Korean credit card and financial services provider, reported higher net income on Monday, even though sales fell in the second quarter of 2026 versus the prior year.

In the second quarter, net income attributable to shareholders rose to KRW 154.2 billion, up from KRW 151.2 billion a year earlier.

Operating income also grew, reaching KRW 208.6 billion compared with KRW 200.5 billion in the previous year.

Revenue slipped to KRW 1.18 trillion, down from KRW 1.26 trillion the year before.

The stock is up 2.46%, trading at KRW 50,000 on the Korean exchange.
