RIYADH — Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman spoke by phone with his Malaysian counterpart, Mohamed Khaled Nordin, on Sunday to discuss bilateral ties and prospects for deepening defense cooperation, according to a post by Prince Khalid on X.
The two ministers also reviewed recent regional developments and other issues of mutual interest. The call follows Malaysia’s expression of solidarity with Saudi Arabia last week after attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, during which Kuala Lumpur reaffirmed its support for the Kingdom’s security and sovereignty.
