SEC Media Days have concluded, and the conference has released its official preseason predictions for the 2026 season.
Georgia topped the ballot with 88 first‑place votes, reaffirming the Bulldogs as the preseason favorites. Texas placed second, receiving 57 first‑place selections, a clear margin over the rest of the field.
Only a handful of teams collected multiple first‑place votes. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, and Kentucky each earned at least one top‑vote, though none reached double‑digits.
