September 30, 2026 (MLN): Security Papers Limited (PSX:SEPL) has announced the successful completion of its Paper Machine 2 (PM-2) upgrade project. Following the modernization, the plant resumed full-scale operations and production effective September 30, 2026.
The company disclosed this development in a formal notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), submitted in compliance with Section 96 and Section 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, as well as Clause 5.6.1 of the PSX Rule Book.
Operations had been temporarily suspended on July 25, 2026, to facilitate the installation and integration of advanced technological components into the PM-2 machinery.
According to the company, this upgrade significantly enhances its technical capacity to incorporate sophisticated, modern security features into its banknote paper manufacturing processes.
