Sheffield United have agreed a short‑term contract with former Crystal Palace and Leicester City striker Jordan Ayew, keeping him at the club until the season’s conclusion.
The 34‑year‑old Ghana international, who has earned 124 caps, became a free agent after Leicester City’s relegation to League One at the close of the previous season.
Having moved to Aston Villa from Lorient in 2015, Ayew has accumulated over a decade of experience across the Premier League and the Championship.

Meanwhile, Blades defender Nils Zatterstrom and midfielder Ehije Ukaki, both aged 21, have been sent out on season‑long loans to Polish outfit Raków Częstochowa and Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv respectively.
Zatterström has yet to make an appearance for United since his arrival last August, whereas Ukaki, who joined from Plovdiv in June 2024, recorded his lone outing in a Carabao Cup loss to Birmingham City in August 2025.
