The InSight Take: A Weekly Deep Dive Into Organized Crime

The InSight Take: A Weekly Deep Dive Into Organized Crime
Hosted by InSight Crime’s managing editor, Deborah Bonello, this weekly series brings together InSight Crime’s editors, investigators, and senior analysts to unpack the stories shaping organized crime and security across the Americas.
It brings together field reporting and regional expertise to separate fact from fiction and go deep where other outlets go wide.
About the Show
The InSight Take sets InSight Crime’s veteran editors and investigators on the issue of the week, separating fact from fiction and going deep where other outlets go wide.
Each week, the show goes beyond organized crime headlines to ask what really matters, what is being missed, and what comes next.
A deeply informed conversation built on years of field reporting and regional expertise, the InSight Take cuts through political spin and security theater to explain how organized crime actually works, why it adapts and stays one step ahead, how it affects people, institutions, and democracy, and what could realistically be done to turn things around.
