The December stabbing of 18‑year‑old Henry Nowak in Southampton, carried out by Vickrum Digwa, has sparked intense political debate in the United Kingdom.
Digwa, 23, initially claimed he was the victim and alleged that Nowak had made racial insults.
President Donald Trump’s administration has become increasingly involved, and Vance — an outspoken critic of European migration policies — has emerged as the highest‑ranking US official to comment on the incident.
He would still be alive today if recent European elites had not succumbed to self‑hatred and the mass influx of migrants, many of whom harbor hostility toward the West and its supporters, Vance added.
Now he is far from the first to lose his life needlessly, and I fear he will not be the last.
The U.S. State Department accused Britain of employing a “two‑tiered” policing system in a Thursday statement.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk, owner of X, has repeatedly commented on the police response to the stabbing.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer accused Musk on Thursday of attempting to stir division within Britain.
