• Beat your opponent to earn 1 point. Tie to earn 0 points. Lose to your opponent to lose 1 point. Total these for your overall score. Maintain a daily tally or compete daily for fresh scores.
• Fridays count as 2XP, meaning all points – positive or negative – are doubled.
• Keep a running total or play for a new daily score. Have fun!

Today’s Wordle Etymology

“Runny” derives from “run” combined with the suffix “-y,” literally meaning “inclined to run or flow.” Originally coined in the 19th century to describe liquids that flow too freely, it later expanded to describe symptoms like a “runny nose.”
