Thea Trinidad shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram account, honoring the memory of her father on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Her father, Michael Angel Trinidad, was working for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Center when he lost his life in the attacks.
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion reflected on her remaining memories of her father, admitting that after so many years, she can no longer recall the sound of his voice. She also spoke about the bond they shared through professional wrestling.
The woman formerly known as Zelina Vega recently made her return to the ring under the new name Xelina, following her release as part of WWE’s post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts in April.
