WWE has scheduled live events in Portland, Maine on September 5th and Bangor, Maine on September 6th, according to Fightful Select. These events will take place after the company tapes both Raw and SmackDown episodes next Monday, which allows them to depart for Crown Jewel preparations.
While Crown Jewel remains the company’s priority, current plans indicate a substantial roster will still perform at the Maine events. Several major stars not currently booked for Crown Jewel are expected to participate in these live shows, which feature four confirmed matches: Roman Reigns versus Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan versus Chelsea Green, Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton, and The Vision facing Penta and Je’Von Evans.
Additionally, main roster talent are reportedly scheduled to make appearances at upcoming NXT live events, though specific talent and show details have not been disclosed.
WWE Crown Jewel occurs on November 7th at Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event streams live on ESPN+ in the United States and Netflix internationally.
