Diane Lane Joins Li Jun Li in Hulu Limited Series ‘Victoria’

Diane Lane joins the upcoming Hulu‑Onyx Collective limited series “Victoria,” Variety reported.

The sci‑fi/thriller drama, which was greenlit last week with a full episode order, centers on Li Jun Li as Maxine Tao—a brilliant con‑artist thrust into a world of excess, power, and danger when she becomes the target of a seductive killer who knows her deepest secrets.

Lane plays Lee Calloway, a savvy venture capitalist whose razor‑sharp determination drives the story; she is depicted as someone who never lets obstacles stand in her way.

Beyond ‘Victoria,’ Lane continues to take on high‑profile casting choices. Earlier appearances included guest spots on “A Man in Full” and “House of Cards” (Netflix), a second season of “Feud” (FX/Hulu), and “The Romanoffs” (Amazon). Film credits feature roles in “Under the Tuscan Sun,” “Unfaithful,” and “Hollywoodland,” where she earned an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination for her turn in “Unfaithful”; earlier recognition includes Golden Globe nods for “Under the Tuscan Sun” and the TV movie “Cinema Verité,” plus Emmy accolades for “Feud” and her early miniseries effort on “Lonesome Dove.”

“Victoria” is created, written, and executive‑produced by Christy Hall; Geeta Vasant Patel directs the debut episode while executive producing alongside Greta Kline. Other producers include Lilly Burns, Elise Henderson, and Tony Hernandez of Counterpart Studios, with Li joining in a dual capacity as star and co‑producer.
