EZ8 Unveils Debut Album “The Easy Way Out” Featuring New Single “Fear As A Gift”

Last year, former Chubby And The Gang frontman Charlie Manning Walker launched a new band, EZ8, after releasing a four‑track demo. Now we have further details about the project and its music.

EZ8 is a shorthand for the band’s full name, East Eight. The group, rooted in London’s hardcore punk scene, features Walker alongside musicians from the Chisel, Arms Race, Stingray, and Last Affront. Their debut album, The Easy Way Out, is slated for release this summer. It combines tracks from the earlier demo with newly recorded songs, among them the single “Fear As A Gift,” which is available today. Listen below.
