Fiona Apple’s music will accompany the new Apple TV+ miniseries Lucky, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and adapted from Marissa Stapley’s 2021 novel. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 15.

In an interview with Movieplayer.it, Taylor-Joy explained that she wanted the soundtrack to be largely female‑centric with a rock edge, noting that the title‑sequence music features the legendary Fiona Apple. She recalled being an avid teenage fan, stating that “her voice perfectly captures the series—its timbre, rawness, and gravitas embody the show’s essence.”

Costar Timothy Olyphant echoed this reaction, remembering the moment the title sequence began and thinking, “Oh, fuck yeah, this is going to be a great show.” He added that Apple’s involvement signals a strong series.

Lucky premieres on Apple TV+ on July 15.
