New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart left Monday Night Football’s contest against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium with a lower‑leg injury.
Dart was driven into the backfield and his leg was twisted by Rams defenders. He fell to the ground, was tended to by trainers, and eventually walked off under his own power before being escorted to the locker room for X‑rays.
While the Giants have not issued an official update, lip‑readers on social media claim they captured a staff member telling head coach Jim Harbaugh the expected recovery time.

The footage appears to show a Giants staff member informing Harbaugh, “He’s gonna be out four to six weeks.”
Renowned orthopedic specialist Dr. David J. Chao weighed in, saying the injury is unlikely to be a season‑ending ACL tear. He suspects an MCL sprain, which aligns with a four‑to‑six‑week recovery window.
Good news for Jaxson Dart: By video, I do not believe he suffered a season-ending ACL tear.
The concern is an MCL sprain, an injury likely measured in weeks, not months. The MRI will determine the severity. pic.twitter.com/6uS1bteswL
