Managing Apple Music across multiple devices? Staying synchronized is simpler than you might expect.

Apple Music remains a top-tier streaming service, particularly for those invested in the Apple ecosystem. Yet the platform extends well beyond Apple hardware, supporting Android phones, Windows PCs, and select smart TVs. Simply sign in with your Apple Account to access your music library across these devices.
However, signing in on a new device doesn’t always bring your library along. If your songs appear missing, there’s no need to worry—enabling one setting in Apple Music will synchronize your collection across every device, eliminating the need for manual management.
Enabling Sync Library in Apple Music

A common cause of syncing issues is using different Apple accounts across devices. To verify, open the Apple Music app, tap your profile picture on the Home tab, and compare the email address. If it doesn’t match your primary account, sign out and log in again with the correct credentials.
Next, confirm that Sync Library is active on each device. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, select Apps, choose Music, and toggle on Sync Library. On a Mac, launch the Music app, click the Music menu in the top bar, open Settings, and enable Sync Library under the General tab before clicking OK. Windows users can follow a similar path via the three-dot menu to access Settings. Android users don’t need to adjust anything, as Sync Library is enabled by default.
Regardless of platform, the initial synchronization may take time, particularly with large libraries. If tracks don’t appear immediately, keep the Music app open and wait a few minutes.

In the Mac app, open the File menu, navigate to Library, and select Update Cloud Library to force a synchronization and check for updates. The Windows app offers a similar option in its sidebar. This feature isn’t available on Android or iOS.
Ensure your mobile devices are connected to Wi-Fi and not in Low Power Mode, since either can interrupt syncing. If problems persist, return to Settings, disable Sync Library, then re-enable it. Signing out of your Apple Account and logging back in may also help. Non-subscribers with an offline library on Mac or PC will need to manually transfer the Music folder to another computer using Apple iTunes or Apple Devices.
Sync settings aren’t the only adjustments worth considering. While reviewing your options, explore other toggles such as audio quality settings to enable lossless audio.
