The Campeones Cup is an annual showdown between the reigning MLS Cup champion and the most recent Liga MX Campeón de Campeones winner.
Inter Miami aim to end Liga MX’s recent run of dominance. MLS clubs have not won the trophy since 2022, when New York City FC defeated Atlas, while Toluca most recently lifted it in 2025 after beating LA Galaxy.
