Lola Vice has opened up about a frightening sequence during the 2026 WWE Money in the Bank premium live event. Competing in the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match alongside WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne, Vice found herself in a precarious position when the two exchanged strikes while perched on the same side of a ladder.
Vice applied a chokehold on Jayne, causing both women to fall backward onto a second ladder bridged between the middle rope and the one they had been climbing. The impact sent them bouncing off the structure, which shifted violently and catapulted both competitors over the top rope to the floor.
Speaking on “WWE Ahora,” Vice described the incident as both painful and terrifying. “I had Jacy in a choke and when I put her to sleep, she fell back and I fell with her. I thought that was the end of it, but suddenly the ladder went backwards, and literally, it got us out of the ring. Because of that, I didn’t win Money in the Bank,” Vice recalled. “It hurt a lot and was very scary, but looking back, thank God it came out like this because it could have been very ugly. I think an injury in a Ladder match would have been rough. They are not for everyone, but thank God I’m strong and I was able to do it.”
