AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric has signed a one-year contract extension, securing his continued presence at San Siro. The Croatian international, set to turn 41 in September, has been a pivotal force in the Rossoneri midfield since his arrival last summer, joining on a one-year deal with an option to extend after a distinguished stint at Real Madrid.

Throughout the recently concluded season, Modric contributed two goals in 37 appearances, supporting Milan in finishing fifth in Serie A alongside a Coppa Italia last-16 exit.
