NEHERA’S SPRING 2027 MEN’S COLLECTION: SOFTNESS MEETS EUROPEAN INSPIRATION

Nehera co-founder Ladislav Zdút has long embraced freedom through structure, channeling it into this summery men’s collection. Born in landlocked Communist Slovakia when travel beyond borders was restricted, he spent his childhood summers at Hungary’s Balaton Lake—dubbed the “Lake of Swans”—a substitute for the seas he could not visit due to political and economic barriers. On a recent Zoom, Zrút described the location as “a replacement for something forbidden.”

Reflecting on previously untouchable aesthetics, softness in menswear was once rare. For this season, however, it has become a dominant theme. Zrút’s designs include a cropped one-button jacket with unstructured sleeves, a lace-adorned piece that invites airflow, and a bomber coat paired with relaxed wool-silk blend pants. A pale yellow floral jacquard adds a sleepwear-inspired touch to the lineup.

The collection perpetuates the pastel palette from Nehera’s previous season, taking cues from Balaton’s natural hues. A paprika-red cotton boucle ensemble nods to the inflatable mattresses that punctuated Zrút’s childhood lake outings—offering both tactile softness and visual intrigue. While minimalist in impact, the line prioritizes understated ambiance, evoking lakeside tranquility and vacation-mode ease as envisioned by Zrút.
