Stewart appeared on “The Daily Show” on Tuesday evening, utilizing the trailer for Nathan Fielder’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary, “You Can See Everything,” to mock President Donald Trump and his dedicated aide, who has been dubbed “the human printer.”

Following his critique of Trump’s “reality distortion field”—a tendency to dismiss expert and journalistic facts in favor of his own perspectives—Stewart remarked, “Perhaps it is simply better to be the character in ‘The Matrix’ who says, ‘Oh, this blue pill is not so bad; that reality has steak!’ But I already possess too much knowledge. How do I reach that point? Who would offer me the blue pill?”

Stewart presented several news clips to introduce the audience to Trump staffer Natalie Harp. She acquired the nickname “the human printer” because, as noted in one clip, “she follows the president everywhere with a laptop and printer, providing him with a consistent stream of favorable news stories.”

In another clip, Stewart highlighted a CNN report stating that Harp “once jumped into the trunk of an SUV to ensure she could accompany the president to a court appearance.” Additionally, a TMZ clip noted that she “wrote [Trump] letters that can only be described as love letters.”

“Can we even trust her?” Stewart quipped. He then urged the audience to decide for themselves, stating, “Because tonight, right here on ‘The Daily Show,’ we are premiering exclusive footage. We spent a month living with Natalie Harp and the president to uncover the true nature of their relationship. Let’s take a quick look.”

The broadcast then transitioned to the viral “You Can See Everything” trailer, with Trump’s face superimposed over Fielder’s. In the clip, Holmes states, “Why would I deceive you? There’s no — there’s no reason for me to do that.”

The documentary “You Can See Everything,” which premiered at a secret screening during the Telluride Film Festival, follows Fielder and an hesitant camera crew as they document Holmes in her home during the weeks preceding her prison reporting. Holmes was sentenced to over 11 years in prison in 2022 for defrauding investors through her Theranos healthcare startup.
