Ubisoft has taken an unconventional approach by announcing the next Just Dance installment—titled Just Dance Decades of Hits—without revealing any specific details, despite a scheduled October release. The title’s lack of a numerical suffix signals a shift toward a curated greatest-hits format, drawing popular tracks from the 1970s through the 2020s rather than the usual mix of current, world, and indie selections.
The full track list is slated for unveiling this September, alongside further gameplay details. While the platform for the reveal remains unconfirmed, a Nintendo Direct presentation is a strong candidate given the franchise’s history. No individual songs have been confirmed yet, but with the series typically featuring roughly 40 tracks, a balanced distribution of approximately seven songs per decade is a reasonable expectation. Ubisoft has also indicated that the soundtrack will consist of new additions rather than re-licensed material from previous entries.
