The wheat market entered September with broad gains. Chicago SRW contracts rose 9 to 10 cents per bushel on the day, while another nine delivery notices were issued overnight against September CBT wheat. KC HRW futures climbed 7 to 16.5 cents by midday, with 60 delivery notices filed for September KC wheat. MPLS spring wheat posted advances of 13 to 16 cents so far today.

Over the weekend, Turkey reportedly advocated for a Black Sea shipping corridor to help revive limited grain flows. The Russian foreign ministry, however, rejected the proposed attack moratorium.

The weekly NASS Crop Progress report indicated that 77% of the U.S. spring wheat crop had been harvested as of Sunday, outpacing the typical pace by nine percentage points.

September 2026 CBOT wheat settled at $7.65¾, up 9¼ cents.

December 2026 CBOT wheat settled at $7.84, up 10 cents.

September 2026 KCBT wheat settled at $8.36¾, up 16½ cents.

December 2026 KCBT wheat settled at $8.45¾, up 7¾ cents.

September 2026 MIAX wheat settled at $7.55, up 15¾ cents.

December 2026 MIAX wheat settled at $7.76, up 13 cents.
