A significant title change occurred on the July 6 episode of WWE Raw, with a new alliance emerging within a dominant faction.

In one of three championship matches, The Street Profits defended their newly-won World Tag Team Championships against The Vision duo of Austin Theory and Bron Breakker. Despite having captured the titles just weeks earlier, The Street Profits were unable to hold onto them as Theory and Breakker reclaimed gold;

The match conclusion involved considerable drama, with The Vision’s associate Logan Paul creating distractions from the ringside area while the referee’s attention was diverted. During this window, The Vision’s newest recruit, Maxxine Dupri, interfered by striking Angelo Dawkins with a low blow, enabling Theory to secure the pinfall victory and regaining the World Tag Team Championship for his team.

Following the match, Theory and Dupri shared a romantic kiss, officially confirming their on-screen relationship which had been speculated about for months through backstage appearances. The embrace also appeared to signal Dupri’s departure from the Alpha Academy, leaving Otis and Akira Tozawa operating as a duo moving forward.

In a notable pre-match development, Paul Heyman – who had expressed recent dissatisfaction with Theory’s performance – presented his protege with a stark choice: return with something substantial enough to satisfy Heyman’s standards, or face permanent removal from The Vision. Theory’s championship triumph and integration of Dupri into the faction suggests he successfully met that challenge.

It’s worth noting that while Theory and Dupri’s on-screen romance is now explicit, their real-life relationships remain separate – Theory maintains a committed partnership outside of wrestling, while Dupri is married to NXT performer Kam Hendrix.
